In home design, there are various spaces that are often overlooked or not specifically designed, but still have important functions. These spaces include service areas such as household servant rooms, dining rooms, toilets, and laundry rooms that support daily activities. In addition, carports and garages provide space for vehicles, while terraces and balconies offer areas for relaxation.

Gardens add to the beauty of the exterior and provide a pleasant green space. Voids, pool decks, and swimming pools create a fresh and relaxing atmosphere, while sauna rooms are an option for personal comfort. Facilities such as indoor lifts and moondecks also add value in increasing the function of the house. All of these spaces are not specifically designed unless requested by the client. However, their existence remains crucial in creating a functional and comfortable home.

Payment Stages

At the consultation stage, clients are expected to provide a number of important data so that the home design process can run smoothly. The data required includes the location of the land and the size of the land to be used for construction. In addition, clients are also asked to determine the desired home style and the planned construction budget that has been set.

Details of the space requirements that will be presented in the house are also very crucial. After receiving this information, the architectural team will work to produce a floor plan sketch that is in accordance with the client's request. Furthermore, the team will provide a design cost offer that is compiled based on the estimated building area required. With this step, it is hoped that clients can get a clear picture of the next steps in their home construction project.

After the client agrees to the offer given, the first step that must be taken is to make the first payment. This payment opens access for the client to start further consultations, especially regarding the floor plan concept that will be the foundation of the building design. This stage is very crucial because the floor plan is the most important element that will be used as a reference in making 3D models and technical drawings.

During this process, the client is allowed to make revisions to the floor plan according to their needs and preferences without any limitations. After the floor plan concept is approved by the client, the next process is to move on to the second stage, namely making a 3D model. Thus, every detail and change desired by the client can be accommodated well before going further in the project.

In the second stage of payment, the client is expected to make a payment for the creation of a three-dimensional (3D) model drawing. This 3D drawing is very important because it can determine the height, shape, and style of the desired building. With a three-dimensional model and rendering image, spatial planning becomes clearer and more focused.

3D technology allows clients who are not experienced in building techniques to better understand the shape of the building, both the exterior and interior. This is important to prevent misunderstandings between clients, architects, and contractors. At this stage, if the client feels that the appearance of the building is still not appropriate, they can submit a revision without difficulty, so that the design process can run smoothly and according to expectations.

In the third payment stage, the client is expected to make full payment for the agreed construction. At this stage, revisions to the exterior design are no longer permitted, any changes submitted will be subject to additional costs. However, the consultation process and revision of the interior design can still be done, with a maximum limit of two revisions.

The results that the client will receive include a smooth visual rendering image for the exterior, an interior plan of each room, as well as 3D images and interior visuals that describe the interior appearance, furniture position, and lighting atmosphere. In addition, working drawings or architectural technical drawings will also be provided, which are important for the implementation team, contractor, or contractor as a reference in the construction process.

In this fourth stage, the client makes a final payment for the creation of several important items in the interior design project. First, the client will receive a final 3D rendering of each room visual created using 3ds Max. In addition, working drawings and technical drawings will also be prepared as a reference for the implementation team, contractor, or builder during the interior creation process.

At this stage, revisions to both interior and exterior elements will not be allowed, and if revisions occur, there will be additional costs. The technical drawings that will be provided include sections and detailed views of the room, detailed technical drawings of furniture, and a budget plan (RAB). At the end of the process, the client will receive the final file in the form of an A3 printout of the technical drawings that include architecture, structure, and basic electrical and plumbing systems.

Completeness of Home Design and Interior Design Drawings

In the first stage, the completeness of the architectural drawing includes a 2D floor plan concept that provides the basis for room design.

Furthermore, the second stage displays a 3D drawing concept that presents a more detailed visualization of each element.

In the third stage, the fine rendering visual image becomes the focus, with the following details: for small and medium buildings (0-500 sqm), three fine rendering views are available both externally and internally. For large buildings (501-1000 sqm), five views will be provided, and for extra large buildings (>1000 sqm), eight fine rendering views are prepared. In addition, the building RAB, architectural technical drawings, structures, as well as electrical and plumbing are also included. As a bonus, 3D videos for the exterior and interior are included when the drawing is complete, providing a more comprehensive picture of the architectural project.

The fourth stage of drawing completeness includes various important elements for interior development. First, there is a concept of a furniture plan per room in 2D format that serves as a guide for 3D images. In addition, a smooth interior rendering visual is also provided as a final depiction of the proposed design.

Technical drawings and furniture details are presented in 2D and 3D formats, providing accurate information about each element. Interior technical drawings include furniture layouts per room, table layouts to fit, as well as built-in furniture cuts and details needed to perfect the design. Not to forget, the interior cost estimate is prepared in excel format to facilitate budget planning. All of these elements aim to ensure that every aspect of the interior design can be executed well and according to expectations.

Completeness of Technical Drawings for Home and Interior Design

Architectural technical drawings are comprehensive visual representations of a building, including various important elements such as ground floor plans, first floor plans, and second floor plans, as well as roof plans. Each view, namely the front, right side, left side, and rear views, provides a comprehensive picture of the building's form and aesthetics. Sections such as A - A, B - B, C - C, and D - D help show interior and structural details.

In addition, door and window frame plans for each floor ensure that light and air circulation are well planned. Ceiling plans for each floor and floor patterns provide further information about the interior design, while bathroom plans present comfortable room functions. All these elements come together to create accurate and informative technical drawings in architectural planning and construction.

In the technical drawings of the structure provided, there are various plans and important details that describe the elements of the building construction. The footing and borepile foundation plans show a solid base, while the river stone foundation plan provides an alternative using local materials. The details of the columns and beams on the ground floor to the second floor reflect the strength of the vertical and horizontal structure. In addition, the floor slab reinforcement plan at each level shows careful planning to ensure safety.

The x and y grid portals illustrate the arrangement of the Structure, while the reinforcement details for the columns and tie beams illustrate efforts to increase the bearing capacity. The IWF steel structure on the roof is also integrated, although the light steel part will be provided by the vendor. This image reflects the overall efficient and integrated system to achieve the stability and durability of the building.

Electrical and plumbing technical drawings are important documents in designing a building. This document includes detailed electrical plans for each floor, including light points and switches on the ground floor, first floor, and second floor. In addition, there are also plans for electrical outlets and air conditioners on each floor, as well as plans for the roof area.

The installation of a lightning protection system is also detailed in this document, with clear plans and details to ensure building safety. On the plumbing side, clean water and hot water installation plans are prepared for the ground floor, first floor, second floor, to the roof plan, ensuring adequate water supply. All of these elements are interrelated and very important for the smooth operation and safety of the building's function.

In a construction project, there are several items that are not included in the main responsibilities and must be directed to third-party services. First, land investigation or surveyor services that include measuring, sondir, boring, and geoelectric land are important to ensure the stability and safety of the land.

Second, services for making and managing IMB (Building Permit) or PBG (Building Approval) drawings are needed so that all aspects of the legality of the construction are properly fulfilled.

In addition, third, feng shui or hong shui consultation services are also often sought to create balance and harmony in building design. Outsourcing these tasks to professional services allows project owners to focus on other, more strategic aspects of construction.
